The House at Daeryong Maeul
When one pictures Jangan, it is impossible to not recall House at Daeryong Maeul, a house that symbolizes a perfect combination of East and West culture. Situated in Ori’s artist town in Jangan, The place holds a sixty yearold tradition that portrays both elements of the Korean traditional home and elaborate Western designs.
Today, House at Daeryong Maeul is often used as a gallery or an outdoor concert hall, and parties are also held at the house to serve seasonal dishes to its guests. On most days, the house does serve its purpose as a private home, but sightseeing and photo-taking may still be possible if enquired.
